SFB1313, INF: Research Data Management and Research Software Engineering

Description

This project started in the second funding period of SFB 1313. In the first funding period, software and data management was the concern of the Task Force: Software and Data Management. With the establishment of the Information Infrastructure Project, tools and services have been improved to better support the data management and software engineering activities within SFB 1313. The project ensures that all data and software produced in SFB 1313 adhere to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Key achievements include the improvement of data publication workflows, automation of quality assurance processes, and enhanced software interoperability and reproducibility. Current goals include automating FAIR Digital Objects, integrating ELNs with DaRUS, applying AI in workflows, ensuring sustainability, building benchmarking tools, and continuing to offer training and support.
